ANCC (Assistant Nursing Care Coordinator RN )
About The Position
Our Assistant Nursing Care Coordinator (ANCC) will assist the Director in delegating and coordinating nursing care activities for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures, Endoscopy, and our large interventional Pain Management program. They will mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continual professional growth. The ANCC will partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. They will also advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients & their families through safety intervention, emotional support and education.
Requirements
- 2+ Years of RN experience working in a procedural setting required
- Prior critical care experience required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required

- Previous leadership experience preferred
