Requirements

Licensed by the Kentucky Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Current BLS CPR certification (BLS)
One year minimum of experience as a charge nurse in a Long Term Care setting
RN (Registered Nurse) License/Certification
CPR certification (BLS)

Responsibilities

Supervision and provision of quality nursing care given within the Rehab unit.
Working closely with the unit manager and the director of nursing.
Maintaining the quality and adequacy of nursing practice.
Coordinating nursing and training programs.
Recognizing and assisting in solving professional, administrative and supervisory problems.
Observation of results obtained.
