About The Position

The Assistant Nurse Operations Manager (ANOM) in the Level II NICU plays a critical leadership role, working alongside the Nursing Operations Manager to oversee 24/7 operations. This role ensures smooth patient flow and exceptional care for neonates. Responsibilities include leading recruitment, staff scheduling, and performance evaluations, promoting quality improvement initiatives, serving as a role model and mentor, and collaborating with HR, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and staff engagement. The position is full-time at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies in Orlando, FL, within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Level II. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active RN license in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ RN experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a related graduate degree
