About The Position

Orlando Health Dr. Phillips Hospital is seeking an Assistant Nurse Operations Manager (ANOM) for their Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a full-time position with day shifts, Monday through Friday, requiring flexibility based on department needs. The hospital is recognized as a "Best Regional Hospital" and a "Best Place to Work in Healthcare." The PCU is a 48-bed unit that provides specialized care for patients who are too stable for the ICU but require more monitoring than a standard floor. Patients treated include post-surgical, respiratory, sepsis/infection, and chronic illness exacerbation cases. The PCU bridges the gap between ICU and standard care by offering telemetry, continuous monitoring, and specialized nursing for improving patients who are still at risk for complications, ensuring a seamless transition in care and patient safety.
