About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist St. Augustine in St. Augustine, FL. This is a full-time Day shift opportunity. Requirements

3–5 years Nursing Experience
Medical Surgical and Telemetry Experience
Leadership and Charge Nurse Experience
Associate of Science in Nursing
Licensed Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care as needed to support operations
Monitor and improve clinical workflow and patient outcomes
Serve as a liaison between staff, physicians, and departments
Mentor staff and provide coaching and performance feedback
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and budget management
Support employee relations and performance evaluations
Promote a culture of collaboration and accountability
Assists the Nurse Manager with unit/area operations
Works closely with the direct care staff during their shift to deliver quality patient care
Is an expert clinical resource
Facilitates the admission, transfer and discharge flow
Takes a lead role in implementing changes
Supports and coaches staff development
Makes shift to shift patient care assignments
Takes a direct patient care assignment as needed.
