The UI Admission & Transfer Center (ATC) is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to provide leadership and oversight for ATC nursing and support staff. This role is essential in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality care throughout the patient flow process. The ATC ANM will focus on planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating ATC operations, staff engagement, quality and safety initiatives, clinical education, and strategic growth. This leader will collaborate closely with ATC administrative and clinical leadership to support timely and effective patient care coordination. The ATC ANM leads and manages functions of the Admission Transfer Center (ATC) team to ensure quality of service as well as routine monitoring thus providing the safest care for patients. Positions in this job family will have direct patient care responsibilities. Efforts will focus on planning, organizing, directing, evaluating, and improving health care operations, clinical and education programs of clinical departments. Key responsibilities include: Direct supervision of ATC clinical and administrative staff. Oversight of patient flow and coordination of care to ensure adherence to best practices. Advancement of staff education and professional developmen t. Monitoring workflows to optimize efficiency and improve patient experience. Driving continuous improvement in communication, quality, and patient safety. This position will directly report to the ATC Nurse Manager.
