The System Transfer Center Manager has 24-hour accountability for the UPH Patient Transfer Center. Requirements

Bachelors in Nursing
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
BLS (within 180 days of hire)
Hospital Management experience

Nice To Haves

Masters in Nursing, or other Heathcare related field or MBA
Emergency Department or Critical Care Manager experience

Responsibilities

Ensure cost‑effective 24/7 staffing of the system transfer center.
Oversee operational budget development, monitoring, analysis, and variance reporting.
Use financial, quality, and staffing tools to support effective operations.
Maintain working knowledge of HR labor laws and comply with all HR policies related to hiring, interviewing, onboarding, retention, and performance management.
Lead orientation and annual competency planning for staff, aligning programs with departmental goals.
