About The Position

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) provides primary support to the Nurse Manager in directing and coordinating nursing care for a specific patient care unit. The ANM collaborates with the Nurse Manager in assessing and planning nursing care, assumes the Nurse Manager’s responsibilities in their absence with guidance from the Administrative Director, and participates in staff hiring and evaluation. The ANM also works with the multidisciplinary team to support effective operations of the nursing unit.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• BSN required.
• At least three years of appropriate nursing experience relevant to the unit’s clinical specialty.

Responsibilities
