Assistant Nurse Manager, NICU
About The Position
Apply the leadership and administrative skills you developed at the bedside to support a highly specialized Level III NICU team; lead a team that delivers complex, compassionate care to our tiniest patients. Coordinate patient care, foster staff development, drive performance improvements, and ensure operational efficiency. Foster a positive working environment in your unit as part of an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued, and you actively help team members navigate their career growth and development. As a member of the unit leadership team, the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt level role scheduled 8-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
- NICRNC - Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse required within 6 months of hire or transfer into position
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire or transfer into position
