Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) – Emergency at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 10-hour shifts. Typical shift hours are 2pm - 12am with rotating weekend. Flexibility of shift hours required based on needs of the department. Our Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that sees an average of 240 patients per day. We are Level 4 Trauma Certified and a Stroke and STEMI receiving department. The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional Registered Nurse reporting to the unit director/manager who utilizes the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within assigned shift. The ANM is responsible for supporting the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit and providing managerial presence for all shifts. The ANM is responsible for managing clinical and non-clinical caregivers and providing input to the director/manager for evaluation purposes related to performance.
