Assistant Nurse Manager-Emergency Department
About The Position
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supervises a large work group to ensure that a high quality, cost-effective service is delivered. The ANM performs within the department’s goals and objectives, maintains effective, positive relationships by responding to patient and family needs, resolving conflicts, and educating employees on customer service. The ANM effectively and continually communicates with the staff, management, and customers to facilitate the flow of information necessary to the success of the unit employees and the larger work group. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and/or appropriate certification required.
- At least 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- 1 years of experience leading employees in an emergency care setting
- Strong communications skills required - both written, verbal and public speaking/teaching.
- CT RN license
Nice To Haves
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC and CEN preferred
