About The Position

HCT is seeking an Interim Assistant Nurse Manager of ED for a 250+ bed hospital in California. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring policy adherence, managing staff, and handling patient complaints and escalations. The position requires conducting regular rounding with a focus on workplace safety, supporting ER charting as needed, and stepping in as a lead or charge nurse when necessary. The role also involves supporting critical care areas and team workflow, and enforcing established processes.

Requirements

• BSN or BA in health care related field required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant leadership experience
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical nursing experience
• Current CA RN license
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• CEN

Nice To Haves

• Masters preferred
• Epic EMR experience
