As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will support providers and caregivers in the Western Geobubble by managing daily operations, resolving problems and concerns, prioritizing customer service and safety, promoting quality initiatives, and working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager. A caregiver in this position works 8:00am to 5:00pm, collectively overseeing the North Olmsted location, Avon Pointe, and 3 locations in Westlake.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.
Two years of recent RN experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee nursing personnel and patient care providers in the clinical setting.
Coordinate activities to ensure quality and safe patient care.
Anticipate and resolve patient care and personnel issues.
In conjunction with the clinical manager, ensure maintenance of annual staff competencies and continuing education.
Perform duties of the RN Ambulatory as needed.
Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care.
Participate and/or coordinate committees, task forces, and continuous improvement activities.
Participate in department leadership meetings.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
Assume responsibilities of the clinical manager as needed.
Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new caregivers, annual performance reviews and performance improvement.
