About The Position

The Assistant Moving Center Manager role at U-Haul Company offers an opportunity for individuals seeking increased responsibility and career advancement. As an assistant general manager, you will frequently oversee the daily operations of the center, collaborating with a team and acquiring valuable skills for career progression. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record
  • Leadership experience in any form
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts

Responsibilities

  • Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
  • Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects
  • Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
  • Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
  • Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
