About The Position

U-Haul Company is seeking an Assistant Moving Center Manager to take on more responsibility and advance their career. This role involves frequently overseeing the day-to-day operations of a moving center, working as part of a team, and developing valuable skills. U-Haul emphasizes quick hiring and payment, offering a hands-on working interview that is paid, along with a $100 hiring bonus and an additional $300 cash bonus upon completion of the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program. U-Haul, founded in 1945 by L.S. "Sam" Shoen and Anna Mary Carty Shoen, originated from the post-World War II need for nationwide, one-way do-it-yourself moving equipment, thereby creating an entire industry.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record
Leadership experience in any form
Customer service experience
Ability to work a variety of shifts

Responsibilities

Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence
Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects
Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care
Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University
