Assistant Men's Basketball Coach
About The Position
The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach is a full-time twelve-month limited term appointment. This position is responsible for assisting with all facets of planning, organizing, and leading a highly competitive NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball program through the recruitment of quality student-athletes and successful coaching of those individuals. This position will report to the Athletic Director. The University of Wisconsin-Stout is a NCAA Division III institution with over 700 student athletes participating in a total of 24 varsity sports and committed to creating an inclusive campus community. UW-Stout is a core member of the highly competitive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Two Years of playing and/or coaching experience
- Cover letter addressing minimum/required qualifications with specific examples.
- Curriculum vitae or resume
- Three references (names, email, phone) to be provided during the interview process, with at least one being from a manager or supervisor.
- Official transcripts required at time of hire.
- Completion of a criminal background check.
- Passing reference checks.
- Passing an essential job function test, as applicable.
- Reference checks must be conducted at a minimum with three professional references, at least one of which must be a prior supervisor.
