About The Position

North Greenville University is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. Acceptable candidates must be enthusiastic, possess a strong work ethic, a valid driver's license, functional computer skills, and experience in playing and/or coaching basketball at the college level. North Greenville University is a NCAA Division II institution and a member of Conference Carolinas.

Requirements

• Experience in playing and/or coaching basketball at the college level
• Bachelor's degree required
• Supports NGU's mission statement and core values, commitment to a Christian lifestyle and character in keeping with a biblical model.
• Affirm an understanding of the Baptist Faith & Message 2000
• Affirm understanding of the University’s Statement on Human Flourishing
• Agree to abide by the employee handbooks, including community standards agreements.

Responsibilities

• Organizing team travel arrangements, holiday housing and meals for student athletes.
• Assisting with on/off-campus recruiting within NCAA guidelines for prospective student athletes.
• Film exchange per Conference Carolinas and NABC guidelines.
• Assisting in supervision of team and academic progress.
• Day-to-day office management and working with other coaches and athletic administrators.
