About The Position

As an Assistant Meat Manager, you will be the right-hand person to the Meat Manager, overseeing the daily operations of the meat department. Your responsibilities include ensuring the quality and freshness of meat products, managing inventory effectively, and providing outstanding customer service. You will assist with ordering and stocking meat products, maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards. The role also involves utilizing your leadership skills to inspire and manage the team, and flexing your creativity by helping to implement merchandising strategies to make the meat department a highlight of the store.
