About The Position

The role of an Assistant Manager (AM) at Shoe Palace is primarily focused on leading the team to a successful day and ensuring every customer receives the best possible experience. The AM assists the manager in operating the store at a high level, takes ownership of location management, evaluates employee performance and coaches for improvement, and ensures customers receive the ultimate experience. The role also involves learning and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and keeping the store clean, neat, and organized. Shoe Palace is a trusted athletic footwear and apparel retail chain that started as a family business in 1993 and has grown into a popular chain with an online presence. Requirements

• 18+ years old
• Must have OPEN AVAILABILITY DURING THE WEEKENDS
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields
• Be a dynamic and outgoing individual with leadership skills
• Must be driven!
• 4 years: Customer Service
• 1 year: Management
• 3 years: Cashier

Nice To Haves

• Experience in selling Athletic Shoes a plus.
