About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, conducting inventory, and cleaning. Training is provided on the job. Essential skills include accurate math calculations, making change, strong verbal and written communication for order processing, excellent hand-eye coordination for precise movements, and the ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, fluctuating in-store temperatures, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Additionally, the role includes delivery responsibilities, requiring a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to navigate various terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product, driving, walking to and from the customer's location, and climbing stairs. Work conditions during delivery involve exposure to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
