About The Position

This role involves managing store operations, including equipment operation, stocking, product preparation, order taking, inventory management, and facility cleaning. The position requires strong communication and essential skills, including accurate mathematical calculations, cash handling, and computer/touch screen order entry. Navigational skills are crucial for deliveries, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. The role also involves exposure to various work conditions, including temperature fluctuations, food odors, and potential hazards from equipment and surfaces. Physical requirements include prolonged standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and occasional climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching. Driving for deliveries is a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
  • Possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
  • Must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
  • Far vision and night vision for driving.
  • The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgements and decisions.
  • Standing for most tasks.
  • Walking for short distances for short durations.
  • Lifting bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) and stacking them.
  • Carrying large cans and pizza dough trays.
  • Pushing to move trays on dollies.
  • Infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders.
  • Forward bending at the waist.
  • Occasional crouching/squatting.
  • Continuous reaching (up, down, and forward).
  • Driving product by car and then to the door of customer.
  • Eye-hand coordination is essential.
  • Use of hands is continuous during the day, frequently requiring one or both hands.
  • Frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists for shaping pizza dough.
  • Manipulation of a pizza peel and rolling cutter.
  • Frequent and/or forceful pinching for assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.
  • Ability to grasp cans, phone, pizza cutter, pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
  • Utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
  • Deliver flyers and door hangers.
