This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Training is provided on the job. Essential skills include strong communication, basic math for monetary transactions, computer/touch screen operation, and good eye-hand coordination. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying items, pushing/pulling trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, continuous reaching, and extensive hand tasks requiring eye-hand coordination, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough. Tools and equipment used include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
