About The Position

Altair at Riverwalk, located in West Haven, Utah, is seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Manager to help oversee daily operations and deliver an exceptional living experience for residents. This role involves a mix of administrative work, resident interaction, leasing, and property operations. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Property Manager and ownership team to ensure the community runs smoothly.

Requirements

2+ years of property management experience required.
Strong computer skills (Excel and Microsoft Word).
Good math and financial tracking skills.
Knowledge of common apartment maintenance issues.
Professional, friendly, and confident communication style.
Pleasant, cheerful, firm and assertive when needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Entrata property management software preferred.

Responsibilities

Collect rent by the 5th of each month and ensure timely deposits.
Enter rents, changes, and updates into on-site property management software.
Follow up on delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
Maintain and follow a company-approved operating budget.
Answer calls and inquiries from prospective residents.
Show available apartments and assist with leasing.
Process rental applications and prepare lease agreements.
Conduct move-in and move-out inspections.
Respond to resident questions and service requests.
Receive and track work orders.
Schedule maintenance staff and vendors.
Follow up with residents to ensure work orders are completed satisfactorily.
Schedule landscapers and other vendors servicing the property.
Help ensure property standards are maintained.
Assist in preparing weekly reports for ownership, including current rent roll, prospective resident traffic, and delinquency updates.
Work with the NXT Property Management supervisor to help prepare the annual property budget.
Attend company training and meetings as required.
