Slopeside Pub & Grill offers an unmatched mountain-top dining experience in the Poconos. Our year-round restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining is the hub of Blue Mountain Resort. We are seeking a leader that is excited for an opportunity to further leverage this memorable dining experience and create guests for life.

Requirements

An ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the food & beverage industry.
An active Safe Food Handler certification or a willingness to obtain.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

5 years of food & beverage manager or supervisor experience preferred.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the season.

Responsibilities

Recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
Oversee daily operations of Slopeside Pub and Grill, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to established standards.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
Lead and motivate restaurant staff, providing training, guidance, and feedback to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns to uphold the resort's reputation for exceptional service.
Collaborate with culinary teams to develop seasonal menus and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsible for achieving company objectives in Slopeside sales, service, quality, facility appearance, and sanitation.
Partner with culinary leadership to ensure menu items are consistently prepared and served according to Blue Mountain Resort’s recipes, portioning, cooking methods, and service standards.
Ensure all inventory and equipment is accounted for, in good working condition, and secured when not in use.
Attend staff meetings as required.
