About The Position

This role involves a variety of tasks including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Training is provided on the job. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. The position requires the ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately, make correct monetary change, and use a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, a range of in-store temperatures, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments suited for this role include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking on various surfaces, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying items, pushing and pulling trays, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and may involve forceful use of forearms and wrists, pinching, and grasping various items. Team members may use pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivery duties, requiring a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to carry product while walking and climbing stairs during deliveries. Driving involves navigating adverse terrain and varying weather conditions, with far and night vision being important.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product

Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, walk-in cooler
  • Prepare product
  • Receive and process telephone orders
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
  • Deliver product by car and then to door of customer
  • Deliver flyers and doorhangers or any marketing materials
