Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
Strong management skills and ability to work collaboratively and motivate a diverse team.

Customer-centric mindset and commitment to exceptional service and positive shopping experiences.
Understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and visual merchandising principles.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and maximizing profitability.
Guide and coach the store team and help foster a positive, productive work environment.
Collaborate with the Store Manager to recruit, hire, train, and develop the store team, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Help implement strategies to improve customer service, build customer loyalty, and create a welcoming shopping environment.
Maintain accurate inventory records, oversee inventory management processes, and help place orders to meet customer demand.
Support visual merchandising, including product placement and displays, and ensure compliance with visual standards.
Assist with sales data analysis and monitoring key performance indicators; take proactive measures to address sales trends and opportunities.
Help control labor expenses, supplies, and other operational expenditures to meet budget goals.
Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Contribute to store cleanliness and organization.
Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and consumer preferences to support business strategies and innovation.
Work with the Store Manager and other departments to execute marketing initiatives and promotions and support business objectives.
Stand, walk, sit, communicate verbally, hear, and use hands to prepare orders or display product inventory.
Lift up to 30 pounds; occasionally use material-handling equipment and a mop/bucket system to maintain floors.
