About The Position

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is seeking an Assistant Manager for its Tooele location. The role is intended for someone interested in working toward becoming a General Manager. Assistant Managers lead a team in producing quality, hot, fresh, and consistent products for customers and are accountable for the location’s day-to-day operations. They must be able to manage team members, work under stress in a fast-paced environment, and maintain health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of management experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Trustworthy, results-driven, and team-oriented.
• Passion for product quality and providing a positive customer service experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work a flexible schedule.
• Tactful, courteous, and respectful when interacting with others.
• Consistently gives sincere and total effort and demonstrates initiative.
• Comfortable using technology and restaurant equipment.
• Safety-conscious and willing to stop unsafe acts.
• Thrives on helping others succeed and teams excel; aligns actions to support the team.
• Able to adopt Tropical Smoothie Cafe cultural beliefs.
• Willing to train to become a General Manager once a position is open.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members to produce quality, hot, fresh, and consistent products.
• Manage team members and oversee the location’s day-to-day operations.
• Maintain health and safety procedures and stop unsafe acts.
• Manage inventory.
• Handle customer complaints with a positive attitude.
• Hire and train new team members.
• Work toward training to become a General Manager when a position becomes available.
