About The Position

The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the branch manager achieve the required results in sales, business promotion, profits, operational collection standards, and tax preparation. The Assistant Manager is responsible for GETTING RESULTS on his/her contact work by phone. This mainly consists of making contact via the telephone and scheduling office visits with customers. The Assistant Manager also must be able to learn all tasks performed within the office and prepare to become a branch manager of their own location.

Requirements

  • Must be "A GO GETTER" with excellent personality, communication, sales skills, problem solving skills, the ability to lead and must possess a strong desire to succeed!
  • Excellent spelling, computer, data entry, and the ability to complete tasks effectively, efficiently, and thoroughly with little to no supervision.
  • A high school diploma or equivalence is required.
  • Must have initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, dependable transportation and current liability auto insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the branch manager achieve required results in sales, business promotion, profits, operational collection standards, and tax preparation.
  • Making contact via the telephone and scheduling office visits with customers.
  • Learning all tasks performed within the office and preparing to become a branch manager.
  • Completing delinquent telephone work as directed by the manager.
  • Making telephone collection calls to delinquent customers and reporting activities on each customer to the branch manager.
  • Adjusting past-due payments for current slow customers.
  • Assisting in answering the telephone, posting customer payments, inputting new and refinanced loans into the loan software system, processing loan applications, and preparing refinance and delinquency mail.
  • Participating in training development opportunities as directed by the Manager and District Supervisor.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Maintaining daily tabulation of delinquency report.
  • Giving customers credit experience to inquiring creditors.
  • Assisting in maintaining standards in all areas of delinquency, loan volume, and growth goals, along with the 10th/20th standards.
  • Making Daily Deposit when assigned or if the Manager is not present.
  • Selling products and services offered.
  • Consistently achieving company production standards.
