About The Position

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. You will set the example for the crew, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed 100% of the time. This is a challenging but rewarding position that offers opportunities for advancement within Domino's Pizza.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to communicate and interact respectfully and effectively with people across cultures, abilities, genders, ethnicities, and races.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
  • Willingness to jump in and perform any job necessary.
  • Available to close (shifts range from 5pm-2:30am, potentially earlier or later).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of shift operations, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
  • Set the example for the team by adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, and food management are handled correctly.
  • Work to a schedule, maintain perfect image and adherence to standards.
  • Provide great customer service.
  • Ensure attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintain store cleanliness.
  • Participate in marketing efforts.
  • Contribute to store profitability.
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility.
