About The Position

We are currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager to assist our General Manager with day-to-day operations. We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, and hardworking individual who wishes to grow with our company and have fun while doing it. We are a small franchise that employees 10-15 people so team building skills are a must for this position.

Handle Extreme Temperatures (Oven, Cooler, and Outdoor Conditions).
Repetitive use of hands.
Work with chemical cleaners (de-greaser, mop solution, sanitizer, etc.).
A minimum age of 18 years.
Maximum of 3 traffic violations in 3 years or 2 in 2 years.
Vehicle must comply with all Store and Corporate Safety Standards.
Minimum 2 years of driving experience required.
Must have approved Vehicle Insurance that covers Delivery Drivers.
Must be able to provide MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) from DMV.
Car must have a positive image.
Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.

Nice To Haves

Food Handlers Licenses preferred.
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 2 years in food industry preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of management skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist General Manager with day-to-day operations.
Deliver and create outstanding product.
Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck.
Unload cases of ingredients and supplies.
Carry large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of pizza dough.
Carry pizzas and beverages while performing "walking" and "climbing" duties during delivery.
Push trays placed on dollies.
Navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.
Navigate stairs during delivery of product.
Stoop/Bend forward at the waist at the pizza assembly station.
Stoop/Bend forward at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.
Crouch/Squat to stock shelves and to clean low areas.
Reach continuously; up, down and forward.
Reach above 72" occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves.
Reach down to perform tasks such as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel, or washing dishes.
Reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones.
Shape pizza dough.
Manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven, and when using the rolling cutter.
Pinch cardboard pizza boxes.
Grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
Utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.
Use of hands is continuous during the day.
Frequently activities require use of one or both hands.
