About The Position

We are currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager to assist our General Manager with day-to-day operations. We are seeking a self-motivated, organized, and hardworking individual who wishes to grow with our company and have fun while doing it. We are a small franchise that employs 10-15 people, so team building skills are a must for this position.

Minimum 2 years of driving experience required
Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Vehicle must comply with all Store and Corporate Safety Standards
Must have approved Vehicle Insurance that covers Delivery Drivers
Must be able to provide MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) from DMV
Car must have a positive image
Maximum of 3 traffic violations in 3 years or 2 in 2 years

Nice To Haves

Food Handlers Licenses preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Minimum of 2 years in food industry preferred
Minimum of 2 years of management skills preferred

Responsibilities

Assist our General Manager with day-to-day operations
Deliver and create outstanding product
Deliver product by car and then to door of customer
Deliver flyers and door hangers
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck
Lift and stack cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
Carry large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of pizza dough
Push and pull trays which are placed on dollies
Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance
Navigate five or more flights of stairs during product delivery
Perform forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station, front counter, and when stocking ingredients
Crouch/squat occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas
Reach continuously; up, down and forward for tasks such as turning on/off oven controls, changing prices on signs, lifting and lowering objects to and from shelves, scooping cornmeal, washing dishes, obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones
Drive to deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area
Shape pizza dough
Manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven, and when using the rolling cutter
Perform frequent and/or forceful pinching in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes
Grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes
Utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel
