About The Position

Classic Cinemas LaGrange Theatre is seeking a motivated, people-first, part-time Assistant Manager to help lead their team. This role involves creating unforgettable guest experiences and managing behind-the-scenes operations to ensure the theatre runs smoothly, profitably, and entertains the community. The ideal candidate excels at organizing, planning, and maintaining theatre operations.

Requirements

Basic math skills required.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to effectively deal with people.
Day Shift availability (Required).
Night Shift availability (Required).

Nice To Haves

Management experience preferred.
Computer and projector experience helpful.
Effective verbal and written communication.
High school or equivalent (Preferred).
Supervising experience: 1 year (Preferred).
Management: 1 year (Preferred).
Customer relationship management: 3 years (Preferred).

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain a weekly employee schedule.
Operate within the schedule to achieve satisfactory performance and profit.
Take weekly inventory of concession items and operating supplies.
Perform basic repairs and report/write work orders for items beyond your ability.
Enter and receive information through the computer.
Interact with the public to promote and maintain patronage of the theatre, and greet guests.
Track passes.
Ensure end-of-month paperwork is completed and submitted on time.
Provide on-the-job training for employees.
Evaluate employee performance.
Verify payroll, bank deposits, receipts, and disbursements, and make daily deposits.
Check maintenance and housekeeping.
Assure quality and profitability of the concession counter.
Supervise staff on site.
Upload and view movies.
Maintain clean projectors and booths.
