About The Position

The Assistant Manager is responsible for all aspects of shift operations, including cost controls, inventory management, cash handling, and customer relations. This role requires setting a strong example for the team, adhering strictly to all company policies and procedures, and ensuring the crew does the same. Responsibilities include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, conducting inventory, cleaning, staffing, managing paperwork, controlling costs, handling cash, managing food, working according to a schedule, maintaining a perfect image and adherence to standards, providing excellent customer service, ensuring good attendance and punctuality, having reliable transportation, maintaining store cleanliness, contributing to marketing efforts, and driving profitability.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
  • Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within a designated delivery area.
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
