About The Position
This role is responsible for everything that happens during a shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. The individual must set the example, follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from the crew. Responsibilities include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility daily. Additional duties encompass staffing, cost controls, cash control, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining a perfect image and adherence to standards, providing great customer service, ensuring attendance and punctuality, managing transportation to/from work, maintaining store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Ability to direct activities
