This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking customer orders via phone, conducting inventory, cleaning, and delivering orders. Training and orientation are provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, as well as the ability to train and lead others. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making change, verbal and written communication, motor coordination for precise movements, computer/touch screen order entry, cost control maintenance, and navigational skills for deliveries. The work environment includes varying temperatures, exposure to food odors and dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments. The role is primarily performed standing, with walking for short distances, and occasional sitting for paperwork. Lifting of up to 50 pounds is required for bulk deliveries, and carrying of items like pizza sauce and dough trays. Driving for deliveries within a designated area is a key responsibility. Pushing and pulling of trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, continuous reaching, and frequent stooping/bending are also part of the job. Hand tasks requiring eye-hand coordination are performed continuously.
