About The Position

Chipotle is growing rapidly, opening new restaurants frequently, and is seeking leaders to join their expansion. The Assistant Manager role is designed for individuals with a strong ambition to become General Managers, by assisting in the daily operations of the restaurants. This role provides the opportunity to learn essential business management skills, including hiring and training staff, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Requirements

  • A "Guest Obsessed" passion for hospitality.
  • Friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Passion for growth and a desire to learn the General Manager position.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for people development and leading others.
  • Previous restaurant management experience is preferred, including experience with scheduling, P&L management, food safety, sales forecasting, and recruiting.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 10 hours a day.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs./25kgs.
  • Ability to work around varied temperatures.
  • Ability to taste and prepare food.
  • Strong communication skills with the Chipotle team and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold top-notch standards of excellence and hospitality, demonstrating a "Guest Obsessed" approach.
  • Act as the leader on duty, ensuring efficient speed of service, order accuracy, and a positive guest experience.
  • Train and develop crew members using Chipotle's established training tools and resources.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of digital orders.
  • Learn and manage the day-to-day operational business of the restaurant, including schedule creation, P&L management, sales forecasting, and recruitment.
  • Maintain a clean dining area and ensure the restaurant is always guest-ready.
  • Adhere to food safety, operational, and compliance standards.
  • Work a standard 50-hour workweek, including evenings and weekends, with applicable overtime pay.
