About The Position

Domenico's Italian Chophouse at Truffle Pig Winery is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to help lead our front-of-house team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. Requirements

  • 2+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Ability to lead in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • California Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily front-of-house operations alongside the management team.
  • Coach, mentor, and inspire staff to deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Ensure exceptional food, beverage, and service standards are consistently met.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and create memorable experiences.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS accuracy.
  • Monitor labor, inventory, and operational efficiencies.
  • Partner with the culinary team to ensure seamless service.
  • Support winery events, wine dinners, concerts, and special promotions.
  • Promote Truffle Pig wines, Wine Club memberships, and upcoming events.
