About The Position
The Assistant Manager performs general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to communicate with customers and coworkers, follow written instructions, handle basic arithmetic and monetary change, make rapid and precise coordinated movements, and enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, the work area, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
