About The Position
The Assistant Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with all aspects of store operations, providing leadership to optimize sales results. The role promotes a positive customer shopping experience and leads and inspires a high-performing team to improve operational efficiency and drive traffic on the sales floor and through digital platforms. The Assistant Manager contributes to day-to-day store operations, inventory management, sales growth, and customer satisfaction while maintaining brand and visual merchandising standards. Responsibilities also include processing shipments, replenishing the sales floor, and fulfilling e-commerce orders.
Requirements
- High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or a related discipline is an asset.
- Two years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment.
- Passion for fashion, an outgoing personality, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility, innovation, and urgency in identifying and responding to changing business conditions with impactful ideas and solutions.
- Ability to encourage participation, creativity, and learning by sharing best practices and building on others’ ideas.
- Ability to build partnerships and prioritize collaboration.
- Social media skills, mobile device skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or OpenOffice.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to business needs.
