  • Strong operational instincts with proven experience managing inventory, scheduling, and store processes.
  • Creative vision with a commercial mindset—visual excellence and business results go hand in hand.
  • Deep understanding of visual merchandising principles: color, proportion, storytelling, fixture use, and traffic flow.
  • Experience with Shopify POS or comparable systems; basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong alignment with the Rhoback brand and #craveactivity values.
  • 3+ years of retail experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing inventory, scheduling, and store operational processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with visual merchandising standards and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Actively lead and engage on the sales floor during every shift—modeling exceptional customer service, demonstrating product knowledge, and personally driving sales.
  • Support the Store Manager in building and maintaining a high-performance sales culture where every team member is focused on achieving goals.
  • Leverage product placement, storytelling, and visual strategy to support commercial goals and increase conversion and transaction value.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify performance gaps, and take action to close them—always operating with full integrity.
  • Act as Leader-on-Duty during designated shifts, making decisions and leading the team with confidence and accountability.
  • Execute all store operational processes: opening and closing procedures, cash handling, daily reconciliation, and security protocols.
  • Manage inventory operations end-to-end: receiving product, restocking the floor, conducting cycle counts, and executing transfers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all operational procedures are followed consistently and with integrity.
  • Oversee scheduling and payroll administration in alignment with labor budget and business needs.
  • Manage the physical environment—fixtures, lighting, cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are always upheld.
  • Monitor store KPIs and operational metrics; proactively surface opportunities and solutions to the Store Manager.
  • Act as a key liaison between the store and headquarters on operational matters, systems, and supply needs.
  • Own the visual standards of the store, executing floor sets, seasonal transitions, and brand directives from headquarters with precision and creativity.
  • Translate the Rhoback brand aesthetic into a compelling, shoppable in-store environment that excites and engages customers.
  • Keep all marketing materials, signage, windows, and brand touchpoints current, clean, and impactful.
  • Monitor visual KPIs (sell-through by placement, feature performance) and adjust strategies to maximize results.
  • Partner with headquarters on visual direction, providing on-the-ground feedback and adapting directives to local context as needed.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members with a focus on operational standards, visual presentation, product knowledge, and customer service.
  • Coach and develop team members through real-time feedback and consistent performance conversations.
  • Train the full store team on visual standards, folding, product presentation, and replenishment best practices.
