About The Position

The Assistant Manager is responsible for operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning the equipment and facility. Training is provided on the job. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions, and proficiency in basic math. Essential functions include accurate calculations, making correct monetary change, and effective verbal and written communication. The role involves working in various environmental conditions, including temperature fluctuations, food odors, and potentially cramped spaces. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching. Eye-hand coordination and the use of hands are continuous throughout the day, with frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough and manipulating tools. Team members may be required to use various tools and equipment such as pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the Assistant Manager may be responsible for product delivery, requiring a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to carry products while walking and climbing stairs. Driving involves navigating adverse terrain and varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
