About The Position

The Assistant Manager at Capstone Restaurant Group oversees an assigned shift at a Hardee’s restaurant, working to achieve sales growth and uphold company standards. The role manages food-service activity, assigns tasks, oversees cash control, and focuses on food quality and hospitality. Under the direction of the General Manager, the Assistant Manager helps train and retain Team Members, supports the General Manager, and assists with overall restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

Supervise Team Members and Shift Leaders while maintaining standards for quality, service, cleanliness, and profitability.
Coordinate staff training with team trainers.
Maintain a cooperative and harmonious working relationship with management and fellow Team Members.
Handle human resources issues, including disciplinary write-ups.
Conduct team meetings as needed to discuss operations, procedures, and promotions.
Conduct weekly inventories.
Control payroll to meet company labor-cost standards.
Control inventory to meet company GAP standards.
Support the management team and General Manager in operational decisions.
Maintain reports and records according to company standards and applicable state and federal regulations.
Maintain the building and equipment through proper operation, cleaning, and preventive maintenance procedures.
Assume responsibility for shift cash, including bank deposits, and ensure cash procedures are followed.
Ensure sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures are observed and enforced.
Meet company standards for personal appearance and display professionalism.
Follow HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
Perform other tasks as directed by management.
