About The Position

Maersk Ground Freight is seeking an Assistant Manager in Denver, Colorado. The role oversees last-mile and in-home delivery operations, including dispatch, customer service, order processing, and delivery staff. The position combines first- and second-shift work and requires English/Spanish bilingual skills. The Assistant Manager supervises hourly on-site employees and performs supervisory duties in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
At least 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.

Supervisor experience, including conducting performance reviews for direct reports.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, stores, and independent contractors.
Follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and in-home damage claims.
Dispatch trucks using GPS technology.
Oversee in-home delivery for customers.
Maintain monthly operating reports, including statistics and customer service scores.
Oversee Customer Service Representatives and Routers.
Directly supervise hourly on-site staff handling data entry, customer service, order processing, and delivery.
Train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; reward and provide direction to employees; address complaints; and resolve problems.
Maintain punctuality and attendance.
