About The Position

The Assistant Manager role involves a variety of tasks including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking customer orders via phone and in person, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform basic math calculations, and proficiency in using computer systems for order entry. Team members will be exposed to varying work conditions, including temperature fluctuations, potential exposure to fumes and dust, and working in cramped spaces. Essential functions include standing for extended periods, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and occasional climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting. Hand tasks requiring eye-hand coordination are continuous, with specific emphasis on manipulating dough and using tools like pizza cutters. For delivery roles, additional requirements include a valid driver's license, an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to carry product while walking and climbing stairs. Drivers will also be exposed to various weather conditions and need to maintain their vehicles.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.

Responsibilities

Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Deliver product by car and then to door for customer.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Carry pizzas and beverages while performing walking and climbing duties.
Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
Travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
Visually inspect tires to ensure proper tread wear and tread depth daily.
Maintain your vehicle in good running condition.
