This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, and taking inventory. Team members will also be responsible for cleaning equipment and the facility. For delivery positions, duties include delivering product by car and to the customer's door, as well as delivering flyers and door hangers. This requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, and navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area. Drivers must be able to navigate various terrains, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product. The job involves exposure to varying weather conditions, in-store temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Essential functions include accurate and quick calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication, eye-hand coordination for rapid and accurate movements, and the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Team members must be able to stand for extended periods, walk short distances, and occasionally sit for paperwork. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of supplies and products are required. Climbing stairs or ladders may be necessary for certain tasks. Stooping, bending, crouching, and reaching are performed continuously throughout the day. Hand tasks, including continuous use of hands for various manipulations, are essential. Drivers need far vision and night vision for driving and must visually inspect tires daily to ensure proper condition.
