About The Position

Assist with Day-to-Day operations of the retail store and production department. This role involves directing and supporting logistics of physical donations, filling in for staff as needed, cross-training in production departments, and assisting in training new employees. The Assistant Manager will work alongside Vocational Training participants and volunteers, setting an excellent example of work ethic in a fast-paced environment. The position also requires assisting in maintaining an intentional, faith-based, healthy, healing community and code of conduct.

Requirements

Good Work Ethic
Interest or Experience in working with reusable goods
Coaching, teaching or teamwork experience desired
Communicate professionally and clearly
Supervisor experience
Problem solving capabilities
Ability to work with a variety of people
Self motivated and able to work independently
Willing to be trained to use machinery
Mature Christian in agreement with Hope Gospel Mission’s Faith Statement and Christian Code of Conduct

Responsibilities

Direct and support all logistics of physical donation
Fill in for staff as needed or directed by supervisor
