About The Position

Assists in managing and directing workforce to achieve sales and profit goals. Assists in evaluating and implementing appropriate new sales techniques to increase the locations sales volume. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to employees regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Be familiar with all equipment and workflow processes at the location and help ensure operational programs and processes run effectively. Help with employee training and operational excellence. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Assists in leading and directing the work of others. Limited degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This position is a hands-on training and shadowing position for development and possible advancement to a General Manager. Typically reports to a General Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Assist General Manager with organizing daily workflow as the production manager.
  • Assist General Manager with tracking and keeping WIP up to date.
  • Assist with training of location employees.
  • Run (and train how to run) every machine at a location.
  • Provide information to prospects and customers about the products and services organizations offer.
  • Assist General Manager with general management at the location.
  • Assist in organizing daily workflow as the production process leader.
  • Learn and be familiar with the financials of the location.
  • Help in tracking and keeping the WIP up to date.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production runs smoothly, and that product quality meets customer and industry standards.
  • Assist in employee training.
  • Learn all functions of the business.
  • Assist in managing and directing workforce to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Provide information to prospects and customers about the products and services the organization offers through all brand offerings.
  • Help manager and/or supervisor to implement production schedules and workflows to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production activities and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
  • Help location have a Redo rate of 1% or less of sales.
  • Participate in and conduct root cause analysis on Redo’s, both internal and external, anything over $250.
  • Reinforce company policies, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth handoffs and coordinated workflow.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing waste, improving output, and driving cost efficiency.
  • Take care of customer/order overrides as necessary.
  • Assist with inventory control related to building maintenance and customer order materials.
  • Assist General Manager with operational processes.
  • Build strong partnerships with employees in the location.
  • Help support and oversee employee satisfaction and morale.
  • Ensure employee communication is taking place, team is on the same page, understands what is happening in the organization and at the location.
  • Be familiar with location financials and budgeting process – Assist with expense control and activities that drive profitability.
