About The Position

This role involves a variety of tasks within a store environment, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking customer orders via phone and in person, and maintaining cleanliness. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations for transactions, effective verbal and written communication, and the ability to use computer systems for order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying temperatures, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions. Most tasks are performed standing, with walking in short distances. Sitting is primarily for completing paperwork. Lifting involves handling deliveries up to 50 pounds, often from floor to shelves up to 72 inches high. Carrying includes items like large cans and pizza sauce, as well as trays of pizza dough. Pushing is required for moving trays on dollies. Climbing stairs or ladders may be necessary. Stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting are performed for stocking and cleaning. Reaching is continuous in various directions for tasks like operating controls, stocking, and answering phones. Hand tasks require continuous eye-hand coordination, including frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough and making boxes. Tools and equipment may include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza wheels. For delivery roles, a valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, and navigational skills are required. Delivery personnel must be able to carry product, drive within a designated area, walk between the vehicle and customer locations, and climb multiple flights of stairs. They will also be exposed to varying weather conditions and need good far and night vision for driving, as well as the ability to visually inspect tires and maintain their vehicle.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
