About The Position
We are looking for an Assistant Manager who is responsible for everything that happens during their shift, including all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. The Assistant Manager must set the example, follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from their crew. This role also involves staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining perfect image and adherence to standards, providing great customer service, ensuring attendance and punctuality, having transportation to/from work, maintaining store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability. General duties for all store team members include stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing associated paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. Training and orientation are provided on the job.
Requirements
- Weekend availability required.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary changes.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery areas.
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
- Transportation to/from work.
