About The Position

Flynn's Tire & Auto Service is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their team. This role offers a competitive base salary with bonus eligibility, a comprehensive retirement savings plan, and valuable insurance plans including medical and dental. Employees can earn up to 20 paid time off days per year and will never work on a Sunday or major holiday. The Assistant Manager will supervise Service Department personnel, review vehicle inspections, present service estimates, secure parts, assist customers, achieve sales objectives, manage parts inventory, drive company and store processes, ensure work quality, follow phone processes, and support the Manager in all operations. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel to other Flynn's locations, work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service, work independently, and possess knowledge of consumer tire products and services, as well as mechanical service needs and state inspection guidelines. A valid driver's license and acceptable MVR are required, along with the ability to pass pre-employment testing. Requirements

  • Willing and able to travel to other Flynn's locations in the Region: ex. Kittanning, Delmont, Johnstown, etc.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Knowledge of consumer tire products and services
  • Understanding of mechanical service needs and guidelines for state inspections, etc.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable MVR and pre-employment testing
